If still early teens, Benelli sells their Montefeltro with a youth stock and adult stock included for about $1100. That in 20 gauge would make a great gun for upland work and will grow with them and last forever. I am looking for gas operated not inertia, the idea of two stocks is good though. I wish they made Rem 1100 like they did in the 60's this would then be a no brainer. I have two in 12 & 20 and the 20 is an original LT20. I have never had a failure and only parts replaced were rubber o rings. That said Both those are spoken for by older sons, got to find compatible quality for the kids.
