While out shed hunting today in z19 Wharton state Forrest,I came across a black racer out getting some sun on a near 50* day in February. First time seeing snakes this time of year, normally I don’t see any until April.

Those dam things will chase you if you get them mad. I never seen one in the snow. I assumed they hibernated.

My buddy had one chase him out of the woods while turkey hunting.  Lol  Snake was slithering by him when he decided to nudge it lightly with his boot. Wrong move.

I'll be danged if a black racer is gonna chase me out of the woods, he's gonna get stomped, but then I'm not afraid of getting bit by one.

Reminds me of people being attacked by turkeys in NJ.....ain't happening to me, the turkey will be running off, I'm might get pecked or scratched but the turkey will be worse off.

No, I'm not some internet tough guy, just not afraid of snakes or turkeys.
