Extreme Cold Weather Boots , Army Mickey Mouse Boots !!

My go to boots for those days that are really cold are the Army Mickey Mouse Boots. I have been wearing these on the cold wet snow days for a lot of years..  There are better for hundreds of dollars but these are my choice for any weather anywhere in New Jersey, NY and PA. How many of you Vets wore them and still use them or just handed them down to your kids and grand kids.

I wore them and hated it! My father had two pairs. I'd have to admit, other than being heavy and bulky, my feet never got cold.

The are a little bulky but always warm.

I still have and wear mine! They are my go to ice fishing footwear and have never failed me. I have marched many, many miles in them. I was looking to get my son a pair, but they have gotten rather expensive. I need to check with a recruiter buddy of mine down in Arkansas and see if he can some across a pair.

I am not a veteran, but I have been using Mickey Mouse boots for about 25 years now, I am on my second pair. I was hunting in the Bitter Root Wilderness area in Idaho about 20 years ago and we were hunting out of a spike camp, when we got up in the morning my friends leather hunting boots were frozen solid so he had to make a fire to thaw them out and all I did was slide my Mickeys on and I was on my way.

Not a vet but I bought a pair of these years ago at an A and n store and to the laughter of my kids I still wear them. Damn warm.

I got a pair of them!  They're the best!!  

You're not gonna hike many miles in them but if you're stationary they are great!

I never needed them when in the Army.I did use them for storm work in the snow, but my feet would always sweat. I still have a pair in Treebark I bought from Screaming Eagle dated 1991 , they were too heavy for me to walk a distance.

I had a couple of pairs. Like mentioned, other than being a bit bulky and cumbersome they were quite warm. Very few boots today can compete.

The warmest boot i ever had and last forever. i had mine so long i wore the tread off the bottom..

My dad bought me a pair 45 plus years ago at the army navy store in port jervis ny when we going to hunt ny state up by unidilla ny it was shotgun county

I will admit, the are not easy to walk in,and you will sweat if you are planning on a lot of walking, they are great for long sits in 0 degree weather.
