I use a butt out tool , and don’t break pelvic bone at all .

‘I don’t cut that huge traditional circle around the sack on the hinds either .

‘since i skin and bone out the deer within an hour of harvesting it .

and quartering it into 6 pieces , the whole pelvic bone is discarded .

‘IMO  no reason to have to deal with all the bone fragments .

Cut both sides of penis and ball sack, cut down to and around anus. Then open stomach cavity and pull every thing out together. Pulling penis and balls though Pelvis

It does not always come out quite that easy without breaking the bladder, the split pelvic takes seconds and makes it easy.

I threw mine away after the 1st season. I could do it faster with the pull saw,

I gut dozens of deer a season, never split the bone. If you get good at taking care of the anal canal there’s no need.

I can gut quicker and easier with three pulls of the saw and NEVER break a bladder and spill piss

NO WAY .

When used correctly you can have the entire anus pulled and cut faster than you can core the fur , let alone cut the bone .

and using the BO tool really cuts down on wgat gair needs to be cut

You might be better with the Bo but I did not like it and will stay with the saw..

I bought that BO tool, but I never used it. I should try it - beings that I already have it. But, I cut the pelvis, too, and just pull everything down and through. I will admit, however, that it does end up exposing a little more meat than I would like. This is what I use:
