82nd Airbourne Jump in NJ Video & Pics from INSIDE the Airplane.

Recommended Posts

I took these pictures and video a few years back from inside the aircraft as a VIP Guest of the 82nd when they did a jump at Fort Dix. It was a good day.

It starts off with still pictures but ends with the actual video of the jump from INSIDE THE AIRCRAFT.

Over the years the US has sent many of its fine young men & women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return, is enough to bury those that did not return. COLIN POWELL

Back in the early 90s... while stationed at Fort Chaffee, I think it was, there was also a group of 82nd members (don't know why they were there - some type of training I assume - I just remember their red berets) and I can't remember exactly what they were doing that made me think this (other than they had their nose in the air like they were God's gift), but I just always remember saying to myself, "These guys are jerks." :) ... But I give them all the props in the world for doing what they do - so, I gave them a pass on their obnoxious personal behavior ;)

They have been helping us win America's wars since their formation in 1917.  They really are a good gang of brothers who take no crap and get the job done.
