Hunting "wisdom" from a former elected official

Yeah clearly very dangerous considering it's been that way since 2010 as stated in the article and there haven't been any issues.  Good call Rose...:down:

 

I've always thought the exact opposite when it comes to hunting distances from dwellings.  It's much safer to have someone hunting closer to a dwelling and shooting towards a safe area than trying to buffer away from the dwelling and possibly shooting towards it.  Roadways cited in this article are a great example, and likely a strategy many hunters employ whereas they hunt as close it as possible, both for a prime entrance/exit with  little impact to the hunting area, as well as having zero risk of every shooting towards and into the highway.
