Anyone Need Help At The Range.......

Recommended Posts

One of these days I am gonna shoot my Savage 220 that I've had for the last 8 months and just haven't had the chance to get to yet.  I know you are familiar with these guns.  It's not that I can't handle it, but it might be nice to have someone there in case I run into the issues that are reportedly associated with these guns ..............

I'm heading out there tomorrow morning with a friend

what will you be shooting?  go early if you can, not only less of a crowd but the winds will be picking up as the day goes on

How long is the archery range?

I need to determine what the bottom post is on my reticle.  I figure about 100ya.  Is the archery range that big?

I'll be out with an air rifle and my friend will be out with his 1187 slug gun trying to find out what bullets work the best of of it.  He will also be sighting in his muzzleloader too.  Yes will will be there at 7:30 or so trying to get it done and out into the woods for an afternoon hunt as the weather clears up

I have two 1187s with rifled/cantilever barrels

12ga: Likes both the Lightfields EXPs and the Remington Accutips, from 0 to 100yds both are equa, at 100 yds or more is where the Accutips are better, both 2-3/4"

20ga:  Remington Accutips 3"

Anyone know if they have the metal frames at the range?  I might stop by tomorrow with my air rifle...I need to just blow through 200+ rounds to get shooting before I sight her in...

I can shoot into the dirt, but I would rather have the ability to get the iron sights adjusted.

The F&G website says they have them, but I know how that goes....
