Reviving an old thread...

Was blessed to finally get a deer a few weeks back.  Breaks my heart to see the amount of bits that get dumped.  Lots of silver-skinned stuff like that on the shanks.

Has anyone ever tried pressure canning the silver-skin bits?  Would the silver-skin reduce?  

If anyone has any info or a canning recipe, please advise.
