I was toying with getting one but im no kayak fan. Always seemed more at home in a canoe.  To me at least the ones I’d been in were tippy and uncomfortable. These newer type don’t seem so though especially the fishing specific type. 
Let’s us know how it works out and best of luck with it

I'm in the same boat as foggy mountain.  Been wondering which way to go between a kayak and a canoe.  I may have to roll out of a kayak at my age.  Good luck with it and let us know how you like it.

Hopefully we have a short winter
