The doe went down right at the woods edge where you hear the crash.  It was a great shot and the broadhead was stuck in the opposite shoulder.

By the way, that last buck is called socks and there is a young lady out at college that has dibs on that buck, so don't even think about shooting it.   :)

Nice job guys! Lot of blood right on impact! Luke, what broadheads do you shoot out of curiosity?

Also, what a propitious acorn drop that slightly scared the doe to broadside. No telling how long she might have fed facing you otherwise.

“I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear

I don't know what that word means but that was pretty good timing on the part of that squirrel.  That doe might never have turned.

Yes, I've been using rage this year. Shooting the rage extremes. Next round of rages I get will be the chisel tooth. The extreme tip bends every time but does give an awesome hole.

Did you find the $100 bill I accidentally left in the really nice tree?  If so, please return it!

Oops, was that yours?  Sorry, it's already spent.   :lookaround:
