Came Close To Getting My Bear !!

I was heading south on Rt. 94 around 0930 near the Sussex County/Warren County border, when a 130 lb. bear ran across the road, I didn't have my truck I had my car and was doing about 50 mph, if i did hit that SOB my car would of been totaled and I'm sure I would of been hurt.

Exactly how close were you? Did you have to lock up your breaks or did it just run across the road in the distance?

I skidded, the bear was what I think was 30', it came out of pines and into a small patch of woods

I wouldn't know. Thank god I don't gave any bears where I hunt yet.
