Hiked Mt Tammany Yesterday

Yesterday was my first time hiking Mt Tammany. I decided to take the Red Dot trail to the top and then took the Blue Dot trail back down. At the top I met a really nice gentleman that is 82 years old!! Amazing that he is able to hike that trail still. Unfortunately at the top it was so foggy you couldn’t see very well and couldn’t get a good photo. That area is beautiful and I’ll definitely be hiking it more often.

My next hike there I'm going up the red trail,  along the ridge on the fire road, around Sunfish Pond, then back down the AT.

Apparently there is a race that runs that loop a bunch of times.  A friend of mine runs it.

I walk it, very slowly, only once,  and then pass out for 3 days.

Thanks for sharing.  I've been on that trail any many more in my lifetime,  its truly amazing and peaceful.

Yeah it was from an app called Snapchat. You can get things like elevation, temp, time, location, etc...

Great hike there. I have hiked the AT there a number of times. Sunfish Pond is amazing. Lot's to see on the hike up.
