Torque specs on a savage 220

Put the gun buttstock on the floor with the guard screws facing you holding the gun vertically. Slowly loosen the forward screw and keep an eye on the barrel where it enters the forearm. As you loosen the screw there should be no movement, if there is the action is being stressed by uneven bedding. Then you have some work to do to get it right. Looks great though

 Thanks for the info I did what you said and no movement
