MPSR 816
7+ The skinny back legs a sagging neck with thin small rack shows he is on the down side. Probably could use a Viagra as well as he doesn’t look happy leading up to the rut. hemlock

How we gonna know his age? his rack is a 1.5, his body is a 3.5, but unless you killed him or have history, what’s the point? Didn't kill him. I could have over the years . I have history with him. My point just wanted to hear others thoughts on his age.

I know whenever some asks “what’s the point?” It sounds like they’re being a dick, but that wasn’t my intention!😁 If you just wanted others thoughts that’s fine, but those thoughts will vary greatly, as You can see, and will not get you the bucks correct age. I was just wondering what your goal was thats all. Farmingdales Finest and hemlock

These posts are very good for anyone wanting to better understand how to gauge the age of a whitetail buck. Way too many folks look at antlers as a way to judge them or just at the body size or just at the head, etc. It's an inexact science, but we can usually be fairly close in the end. Gunsmoke 777
Charles Alsheimer once said that hunters in the business were consistently wrong at aging deer for which he knew the exact age of. We have no flippin' chance once they get beyond the first few years. Pathman
