Age this buck

I want to say 3.5...

Kind of a weird looking body on that buck.  Looks like an awesome 2.5 year old.

I thought the same thing. My first reaction was that he is real young based on his body, legs, face, etc, but I can’t imagine a 2.5 year old with a nice rack like that.

Have to remember it is late season and they are run down some. But I would say he is 3.5

When I try to judge age on a deer I cover the antlers and look at the body only.  Everything about it says 2.5 y/o but the antler bases and development say 3.5 max.  I would think it’s an awesome 2.5 y/o with some serious potential
