Anyone know of a reliable gunsmith in North Jersey? I have an old knight in-line that needs trigger work and barrel fluting. Thanks

Does it have a Timney trigger?  You should be able to go online for cleaning and setting instructions

I don’t know what a Timney trigger is. It’s the original Knight Revolution. The whole action comes out of the rifle. I can see that the firing pin is not lining up with the hole where the 209 sits. So it is misfiring. I called Knight and they no longer own the rights to this model is what they told me. I know it’s old but the gun is really accurate. It has the Green Mountain barrel. It is a bit in the heavy side, so looking to unload some weight by fluting.

Don't waste your time going anywhere else than griffin & however at the Hudson farm. 12 full time gunsmith & you will get gun back fast. Most importantly, will be done perfectly.

 I agree 100% that Griffin Howe would be the place to go however I think the work that the poster wants done may cost more than the gun is worth.

I went there for a 1-on-1 rifle class a few weeks ago. That place is spectacular, would recommend everyone there
