Big woods trapping

Recommended Posts

This year we went up with more knowledge and really set a line. Went up to my friends house in pa and picked up his traps he lets us use. We set and checked traps from sun up till dark for 7 days. We put many many miles on our feet and saw some beautiful country once again. This year was much tuffer as we had zero snow to cut tracks in the mountains. Any way we ended up getting one bobcat and one porkey. The fisher evaded us one again. I was able to take my little cousin and start passing down he knowledge and tradition, great time with friend and family.

Over the years the US has sent many of its fine young men & women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return, is enough to bury those that did not return. COLIN POWELL

They will also chew on your truck wiring if it has road salt on it.  Had 3 trucks damaged at our camp.  They are constantly chewing on our porch posts and side of shed.  Real nuisances.

That’s what we were told also
