Out in 16 with a guy who decided today would be a good day to scout a Monmouth county park... i politely asked if he was hunting "nope just taking a walk" Really! I said you know can't hunt on Sundays that be a better day for you to scout.

"Nah gonna scout now...maybe I'll push a big buck your way!

I think if I did that to him near his spot as he was getting ready to walk in he would feel a bit different.!!!

So the guy scouting walks across the golf course around 430 about 100 yards away from me exactly where the deer cross to get into my area...

I should find his area and scout it @3pm and see if he likes it.

Did a mid day still hunt in Z3 Newark Watershed. Saw three doe, but they were already running full tilt. At least I'm seeing deer in Newark Watershed this year.

Going out tomorrow with the flintlock in Z5 Paukinskil WMA.
