Savage 212 ?

That’s good to know Tom. I’ve been itching to shoot something with that 220 since I bought it. It’s such a pleasure to hunt with,  it’s so lite weight.  I haven’t killed  one with a gun since 2017. 
I’ve been hunting a bit more with the crossbow,  I don’t know   I’ll ever get a chance to shoot one again with the gun with the x bow being so deadly out at 60 and 70 yds . I shot the one this year at 60 yds . Not to many of my gun shot opportunities are ever much past 60 yds.

The accutip ballistic table shows no difference between the 20 & 12 ga round.  Was very surprised by that.

You ain't kidding, shooting heavy fast loads from a 3" or 3.5" 12 ga kicks like hell, makes my 338 win mag feel like a popgun.

So I've ordered a lefty Savage 220, no telling when it'll arrive.

Yeah, I hope it gets here by the summer, I'd like to get it sighted in way ahead of next season, I'm not one to wait until the last moment.

I'm gonna start looking for ammo now, I've saved a few threads and internet articles where folks discuss the recommended ammo, so I know what I'm looking for.

I have a 12 gauge TC Prohunter in stainless and that gun is very light it truly does kick like a mule 😂 I don’t feel it when hunting but when sighting it in twice because I switched scopes I felt it worse than any rifle I ever shot

Was thinking the same...10 rounds at the range barely registers & 1 or 2 shots with a nice buck standing there is not even noticable..
