Dr. Pepper at Franks Pizzeria in Saddle Brook for now

Love the honey barrel rum.

Yeah.  It's really good.  I think their spirits are all very well made and relatively cheap.  We used to go to Delaware every summer and hit the brewpub and see the latest spirits they were creating.   We'd try everything and then stock up on bottles before we came home.  That was ages ago when you couldn't but it up here at all.  Hell, we used to go down there before they even made spirits.

It’s been a crazy week at work with a ton  of overtime and double time continuing tomorrow. So I figured I’d enjoy a few beers today and tomorrow when I get home. Grabbed a few local brewery beers to try while I was at the store. I work very close to Departed Soles in Jersey City which I will eventually stop in to try some of their beers.

Ghost Hawk Brewing (Clifton) Flag Ship Lager.

Alementary Brewing (Hackensack) Hackensack Lager.

Nice! Departed Soles is good. Not great, but good. Nothing I've had from them (which is a good amount) ever wowed me.

If you're into good IPA's, The Source in Colts Neck is cranking out some unreal stuff lately. If you like fruited sours, Heavy Reel in Seaside is hard to beat. Their sours are some of the best I've had, and I get stuff shipped from breweries all over the country. NJ has some great craft beer options.
