Big Bunny Down.  Some tough running in the snow over the hound, once the temps got to 35 degrees things picked up. Missed 3! How i missed is is beyond me, but got 1

How deep is the snow?  Can see missing them up here when they are in and out of the snow.  Tough to hold steady when breathing heavy from trudging through snow, too.

I haven’t been rabbit hunting in a long time.  I grew up running beagles my dad always had a kennel with 3 or 4 and my pop had a kennel with 4 brings back memories.

Miss hunting rabbits with beagles. Use to go right through February as long as it wasn’t too deep. 
Ever need company I’d love to join it’s been a while and no longer have beagles.

Miss hunting bunnies with beagles.

Nothing the like the sound of a beagle on a cottontail. Especially that whimper when they first start getting gamey.
