Work has begun on the Chevelle/Update

The new radial T/A's arrived last week and just had the new SS rims mounted and balanced. Route 6 tires on 206 next to Stokes Sport Shop is second to none and the owner Moe does all of my family's vehicles there. 

Going to save to have the bodywork done, lots going on right now...Hoping to take the Chevelle with friends to LEAD EAST in Par Troy coming up. Always a great time. Some wheel pics below...

Negative. Which was the reason for the beast mode/built 327 with fuelie heads out of a '68 Vette I had installed years ago....

Was hoping to get the Chevelle into the shop several weeks ago but the recent snow and salt stopped me from taking it on the road..

Took it out today and let the pipes breathe..

Planning on beginning the bodywork Monday and Tuesday. This winter we installed a new Edelbrock carb, had the motor tuned, and took off the vinyl roof. 

Will be looking for a shop who installs vinyl tops if anyone on here knows of a good one let me know please. 

 

Fortunate to have zero rust beneath the top I took off, just dried glue spots...

My buddy who is doing the Chevelle with me knows Mike....We called him to ask for help removing the rear window trim, he lives close to me....Small world indeed....
