No deer up there and a lot of hikers.  Go to Wharton State Forest great hunting.

There are some great deer in Wharton,age is the main structure for good racks. Nothing good nutrition wise and very little agriculture. Let them go and they will grow. I am after a buck for 3 years now and he’s still winning.

I will be in zone 8 but not black river i only pheasant hunt there

Seen a giant this year on that trail hiking. I’ll be their sometime this week..
