Congrats to you all who got your bucks!  Not much shooting the first week except on one farm.  Heard more this Saturday when doe opened, including one a half hour before first light a couple hundred yards in front of us as we were walking in.  Will be back out there later this week when things settle down.

8 deer total btwn  9 guys for us in 3C. Seemed like the most action was this past Sat with colder temps and more movement. Good times had by all! Some of the young guys got in on the action..one with his first buck! One guy connected on a bear on his walk to his stand. I also had a great lunch along the creek and also tagged a tree!

I was also in 3C and we failed to sight my 7mm in. The rings were 1" but for a 30mm scope...ended up like 8 inches high with my 50mm Leupold. Good thing I bought the 220 with me too. Have since got the proper rings for the scope but will have to wait til next season to use it. The guys were amazed at the loudness of the Savage High Country 7mm Rem Mag, the vortex of air blew my hat off my head too. 🤣
