What was their last name. Also which book are you talking about?

Foster. Guns off Gloucester was the book.  One of my ancestors was Captain Joseph Foster. He served under John Paul Jones and repelled the British out of Gloucester Bay. He was a real hero in the American Revolution.

I think the least known fact about the Mayflower and the pilgrims is the fact they set sails from Holland and only stopped in England to pick up additional pilgs

they were highly structured with strict rules set in writing for their new settlement. For example all of their homes initially build in America did not belong to individual families who occupied them.

Yeah everyone today is a candyass compared to the folks of yesteryear without running water or electricity and no heat without a fire in the fireplace.  Life used to be durn hard, nonstop work just to survive, for 99.9% of folks.

Water? Electricity? Heat??

how about no food

yes they were badass
