I hit the grunt tube with 3 quick, short grunts as he trotted past.  Didn’t phase him in the least. 

If grunting doesn't stop them, try a snort wheeze. You can do it with your mouth. No need to buy another call.

I am by far the worlds worst when it comes to using any device to call in game, truth.  When I turkey hunt I end up calling in red fox, when I predator hunt I end up calling in turkeys.  Who knows how badly I screw up just blowing into a grunt tube.  I used to use the Primos doe bleat can, that I never messed up!  😂😂😂

Do the "Mer" they do on hunting shows and loud...it works.
