Torn CCL recovery for my pup

Unfortunately, my girl Rosie (4 yo Pudelpointer) is missing the entire bird season due to a torn CCL.  She had the TTA procedure today by Dr. Wendy Ross. We pick her up tomorrow and we’re told it’s around a 12-16 week recovery. Does anyone whose had a dog go through this have any tips for the recovery/rehab process?  I heard there is a good physical therapy place in Mount Olive that I’ll be looking into. Any other recommendations are welcomed. I’m located in Morris County.

Aqua dogs in Flanders is the closest and have a good reputation.   I have had at least one patient use them post ccl sx and had a positive experience.

Aqua therapy does help if you can spend the money.  Be careful pushing it 80-90% times they tear the other leg by compensation. My lad tore one leg Memorial Day the other leg Labor Day recovery took awhile cause was just getting moving then down and out again. 12-16 weeks maybe on smaller pup Parker took almost 10 months before back to normal. Was two legs though  Best of luck and don't push it

Good luck with the recovery. I never had dog that needed knee surgery, but I would imagine you can't push it when your puppy starts feeling better. Your Rosie looks like a real sweetheart.
