Filled my permit bow tag Tuesday afternoon!!!

Passed this guy up Monday night, but shot him Tuesday, LOL.

Story... I’ve got a bigg 8 on camera and the buck I shot was his “buddy buck”. This guy came in 450 Monday night, so I waited and hoped my big guy would show... but no dice. This is my only week to rut hunt and I’ve been out every day since Halloween. My big guy came out sat morning, but no shot at him & hes been nocturnal since. He’d been in at night, and in the mornings before I got to my blind. The weather towards the end of the week was only getting warmer, so when this guy showed his face at 1pm Tuesday, he wasn’t getting a second pass!

He’s my biggest buck so far, even though for our contest he scores less than the buck I shot in September (sorry MGHunter66 & hiking!)

Hopefully I’ll have a shot at the big guy before season ends! But I’m still super stoked for my ol high & tight 9!
