Have a mix of does and fawns all sizes eating greens out in open and bedding down. About 16 total.   Not a bone in sight?   What date is it again????

My buddy just blind grunted in a big boy and shot him at 15 yards.  Thinks its a hair back so going to let him sit a hit. Im gonna pack up in 15 to climb down and help him. Will update a little later.

Still looking at 16 antlerless all grazing in the grass not a care in the world. All out of range now.  Seemed like hunting the does is a good strategy on 11/4 - but this tells me the hot ones are in the bush getting it on!

Been back out in z10. Farmer harvested the beans today. Lot of action this morning but nothing tonight.  But still hopefull. Had a slammer earlier today that wouldn't come up hoping he makes an appearance tonight.

My plan today was to sit at the edge of this huge field, and have a buck chase one of the many does in the field to me. Well the plan failed to specify the size of the buck

whacked a doe........with the truck! Had one bolt out on me and basically came to enough of a stop that I tapped her off to the side of the road, though her hip might be a little sore.
