puppy scent training

Any tips on how to get a 4 month old lab puppy introduced to pheasant scent?  He's going to be professionally trained in the spring but I'd like to get the ball rolling. First time dog owner so any tips would be appreciated.

You can buy pheasant sent in bottles and put on canvas bummer and hide in yard . Or get wings or tail  and attach to bummer.

Talk to your trainer and get his suggestions. Just keep making retrieving fun for the pup.
