Go wild w personal modifications....I put some saddle bags on mine, comfy yoga mat on platform, and a dreamy hammock style footrest that hangs off front of top portion.....that’s basically gives me a recliner in the tree!!

Great purchase I have a Summit I have used the heck out of it for years.. This past spring I actually re painted it and put new rubber on the cables.. it works as good now as day one.. best of luck

No....just put around the tree at a slight tilt and as you you climb the stand will level out as the tree narrows

squishy yoga mat is extra cushion for long stands, extra quiet while shifting around, and keeps soles of feet warmer on cold sits

Best of luck with it.  I have had mine for 20 yrs now and just picked one up for my son.  I do need to get new cables or redo them though.  You wont regret the purchase.

I put the 3rd han man straps on mine. Simplifes things a bit and you can ditch the tether. I also rigged a big game retractable haul line on. Love that thing.
