Good luck. I suck - got winded by a nice rack at 150 yds. I thought he was just off my scent line but of course the scent line widens as it gets further from stand. That exemplifies the risk of blind grunting. He was circling down wind trying to locate “the buck” - rookie mistake!

Who would think the wind would make any difference. 
 

BTW it’s not a mistake. You never know if grunting will result with deer down wind but if nothing is happening what you have to lose

Its a risk. Just grunted in this juvie 5 point directly downwind. The other buck was at least 2 years older and wiser.
