Had to try to redeem myself after yesterday. Lost a couple nice fish again. I am out gunned with the 3wt with these bigger fall fish. State put some real nice fish in.  Tactical copper John and holy grail from Orvis did the trick today.

Went out with my tenkara rod yesterday, caught one 14” and broke off 3 that were in the 16-18” range. Great time to be out on the water.

That's sweet! As much as I enjoy bow hunting in the fall, a day or two on the river can really bring some enjoyment....and no crowds!

It’s funny you say that. This is probably my first time ever fall trout fishing for the most part. I am normally in hunt mode completely.  I am starting to enjoy it all and bouncing back and fourth having a blast.  Going to chase stripers Friday and maybe finish the weekend off in the tree..... my favorite time of year. Soon I will be heading up to the Adks in mid November.
