Headed out with Eddie today to fish before the storms.

plan was to sea bass till we caught a limit and then tog if it was still fish able .

caught slot of sea bass on both jigs and bait , but really jo where near the keepers we were looking for .

lookjng to only keep  fish over 14” we ended up with just 7 on ice .

‘as seas were starting the build we anchored up to tog , first spot we didn’t get a decent bite going , second spot was loaded .

Bites as soon as the crab hit the bottom . Lots of smaller fish , kept our 2 at 16 “; and pushed home at the tide change  before it got really evil .

still few good meals and time spent  outside

Nice.  Can't always fill the buckets.

We release a lot more fish than we keep with all species . With all the great variety of fish we have plenty just keeping a small portion of the catch .

yesterday we could have filled the buckets with smaller legal sea bass , but I can’t see keeping fish that only offer a fish stick instead of a fillet .
