Putting Meat Down For Winter

Took my long time buddy Professor Glenn out to squeeze in some more crabbing before the snow flies.  Had a hunch where we might get on them, and boy we did. It was a nonstop slobberknocker for the duration.  Mostly all big rusty males! They hit chicken legs with abandon.  We stopped at our limit of 2 bushels and left them biting.  Now the work starts with cooking,  cleaning and shrink wrapping. Worth it though, when I will have sweet crab meat in the winter months! Monmouth County waters. 8 foot deep.
