22 Pistol Recommendations??

Looking for recs for a 22 pistol.  Want to get my younger daughters comfortable with a gun and shooting.  Anyone have any personal recommendations for me?  I have a permit in hand to purchase now as well.

When I get my handgun permits, one of them will be used for a 22LR. My first option is a Beretta M9A3 and the second permit will be used on a Beretta M9 in 22LR. These 2 handguns are virtually identical with the exception of the caliber. If I wasn't trying to duplicate the feel of the 2 handguns, I'd buy a Ruger Mark IV.

I have a Smith Victory.  It breaks down easily for cleaning and it' very close the a mark III

I have a Ruger SR22 thats nice and light and has been a great shooter

Browning buckmark or one of the Ruger varieties. Good dependable guns.  Good value. Lots of different models out there.  Shoot high velocity ammo only in them. Most 22 pistols are a little finicky.  CCI minimag have been the most consistent for me.

I have a S&W MP22, Ruger SR22 and a  Ruger Mark IV Lite. All 3 have a few  pros & cons but I really enjoy shooting all 3.

Wife and I have buckmarks. pretty darn accurate too.

 

Older pic, we have since installed red dots, buthave not got to shoot them since.

i love black and rosewood 1911s. wish i bought one a couple years ago when i had permits.

Put me in the Buckmark camp too. Mine was a little finicky with bulk ammo (even high velocity) at first, but after a few hundred rounds it smoothed out. It’s way more accurate than I am, and so nice to shoot.
