First year hunting

What’s up everyone, this is my first year hunting, any good tips or pointers out there for a newbie

Go sit in the woods put your time in scouting and get out and hunt

Enjoy the learning experience.  If you have a buddy to learn from, all the better. Like said above, get out into the woods as much as you can, all year, and find some good spots with deer sign and no sign of other hunters.

More time spent in the woods = more of an education you will receive. Don't be afraid to explore to learn animal patterns.

Welcome, congratulations on your first year.I suggest you pick up a couple of copies of the Hunter's digest. One for your vehicle, one in the bathroom, read it and read it again. Also a wealth  of information.

Welcome and don't hesitate to ask questions here!  Make sure when in your deer stand or ground blind that the wind is more or less in your face and not at your back or you will spook all of the deer and educate them to your stand's location.  That is one thing newbies sometimes don't learn right away.
