Big buck

I was hunting this deer for 3 weeks back in 2008 in up state NY came close many times but I could never get a shot. One day I see a group of people standing in the road looking at a deer that I was hunting he got hit by a car.

What a monster buck ..

A guy named Dan Miller shot this buck in Pennyrile state forest (Kentucky) in 2006 on a quota hunt. It was mounted by a taxidermist Martin Merideth from Hart County Kentucky.  This is a pic of the finished mount.  The original pic above was taken on a concrete shed floor, not a road.  The bucks official net score is 246 3/8”.  If it was scored as its main frame 10pt (not counting any of the non typical points) it would have scored 205” !  Incredible buck

Its the same buck.  These pics were taken from an article from realtree.  The original pic is included in article and well documented

If that deer you hunted in 2008 was killed this year, he would be the oldest deer that ever lived.
