handgun safes

looking to purchase a handgun safe. i have a 48 gun safe that holds my long guns and my handguns but i want to get some sort of handgun safe i can keep on a night stand or dresser in the bedroom. 

looking to hold one maybe two handguns and a few magazines. 

anyone have the type that opens with your finger print? or do you prefer a safe with a code? 

do these type of safes get screwed or bolted to the peice of furinture? i wouldnt want a safe that could be picked up easily and taken away.

I have this one with a 45 1911 colt in it. You press 3 number code to open the spring loaded door.  Easy and quick without looking at it. It works well

I have the same one. It's great for use in the dark as you don't need any lighting to open the safe and quietly retrieve your weapon.  The combination is worked by feel as each finger slot has a specific number of raised dots.

Yes it can be. I think it also came with some kind of steel cable that allows you to secure it to anything.

This is the one I got.  No batteries to die or needed for an emergency key when they do.  Where would you keep the key and remember yet not make it easily found and potentially used by kids?
