i cant say from experience. but i always hear, and read they taste like pork. they eat plants. how bad could it taste? its not like roon is eating raccoon or fox. now that would be nasty. i wouldnt go out of my way to eat a groundhog, but if one was presented in the way he posted, hell yeah i would take a bite.

funny story... me and buddy are dialing in long shots with the bow today at the farm and as I'm walking to target BIG ground hog pops out of the peppers. I'm like shoot it! He just misses..and groundhog is staring at me! He starts closing the distance at 20yds and I'm like...never seen a groundhog do that before..15yds...10yds...5yds...he's not turning. 

I'm sure it looked pretty funny me jumping out of the way. Next time I will be armed!
