hey guys so i have had a cobra hand held release for the past 17 years now since i was 14.  i dont bow hunt much but looking to get back into it more.  i have a good amount of cabelas points to burn and was wondering on decent releases.  im thinking of one of the ones that strap on the wrist.  ive dropped my other one a couple times and rather not deal with that.   also stupid question but would a new release affect my bow set up?  assuming my anchor points would still be the same regardless of the release.  thanks!

I use the Scott ECHO - 99 bucks - wrist strap. I like how the weight is on my wrist and how it is not stiff.

Some guys like the hook ones they say easier without looking at the d loop to put on.

Little late to change release. You could do it but you will need to shoot with it to see how much it effects you.

Some of those true fire releases are nice as well.
