Zipper
Got out yesterday with my buddy Bob, after switching out outboard motors. I had some electrical issues with my 90 HP Evinrude after 27 years of service. I replaced her with a 115 Evinrude and now fly to my fishing and crabbing holes in half the time. Actually the boat is scary fast and I don't want to run at full bore for any length of time. Took some crab traps to see if the crabs were still around the same area after the storms. We hit them solid before the tide ran too hard shutting down the hot bite. I had a chowder head blocking the launch site on my way out. Thankfully our favorite President gave me a hand and straightened the idiot out. Bonefreak, tpr1921, LPJR and 8 others 11 "All men die, not all men really live". madeinuk
Crabs look great there. Would you mind sharing how to prepare them please? I have never managed to get them how they used to be in the Baltimore crab houses before the whole city went to crap...
Zipper
Steamed alive filtered water, 1 beer minus 2 sips, 5 oz. white vinegar. JO Seasoning. Steamed until all deep red, about 15 minutes at full boil. Cold beer add newspaper and friends! I also like Old Bay seasoning. Being a broken old man on a pension i can't afford a brand new motor. However I did advance a decade. My old motor was a 1984, and my new old motor is a 1993! If I live to be a 120 years old., I could finally get a 2020 outboard. midwestxpress, JHbowhunter and Mallard1100 1 2 "All men die, not all men really live". midwestxpress
I'm in the same boat, I've got a no spark deal going on. Just sent some parts out to CDI to have them rebuilt. Parts I need are no longer available. A new 30 installed is 5700. Zipper
