Wood stove inserts

I’m in central NJ, have a wood burning fireplace I’d like to have an insert installed and actually get some use out of it. Can anyone provide recommendations on sales/contractors or a one stop shop that does both ?

Kids used a place called "FIREPLACES PLUS",  660E. Bay Ave, Manahawkin, NJ 08050 609-597-3473. They had a wood burning fireplace but it was not masonary therefore not rated for an insert. Fireplaces came in and did the entire job with insert and all is well. They have extremely high ceilings and we hated to go there in the winter 'cuz we froze our butts off. Now with the insert it's pretty comfortable.

I reconditioned my Lopi Freedom insert myself. I used SOS stoves (908)852-6789 on route 57 in Port Murray for parts. I installed the stove myself but had Erik Thoren (908)782-9832 do the chimney reline.

We got a wood stove 2 seasons ago from Bowdens Fireside in Hamilton.   They were pretty good and have a show room with a lot of different models.

wood stoves and inserts good for you wanting more out of your fireplace. i used DW chimney out of whitehouse nj for my wood stove. heats my whole house.
