I agree.... I drive by the DMV in Rahway every morning at 5am.....there is a long line everytime....the other day with the storm the DMVs never opened due to state of emergency but people still online waiting....you think the state would put a sign on the door/windows to inform people of the closure

The line in hazlet is about 200 yards long.
At least mail registrations still work well

I’m currently at the vehicle inspection station in Paramus. I guess everyone else thought coming at 8am was a smart thing🤷🏼‍♂️  My current inspection sticker expired in December 2019😆

yep i have no plans of going until this crap settles down. i still need to get boat/trailer title transferred, boat/trailer registration, trailer tag. could care less. i'm just going to keep going fishing until i really get heckled. until then, i keep copies of everything with me...

I've been checking the DMV website every day - and everyday my local one shuts down at 10am or thereabouts. It is RIDICULOUS. I need to get a title and registration for a car I bought in PA back in MARCH. I'm not waiting 6 hours and wasting time off of work when I could use that for real vacation time.

My wife and son went to Lakewood DMV at 5am and were #32 in line.

They were done by 9am to title and reg. his truck. Inspection in Freehold was done by 12, only 3 vehicles ahead of them.

That's crazy - it doesn't even open until 8am... and there were 31 people ahead of them 3 hours before it opened??!?!?! This is just nuts. They can't expect us to camp out like teenagers waiting to buy concert tickets!

One more reason, and a good one, to ask why do we need to register every year? It should only be necessary when the car changes hands. It’s tax so make it a tax instead of going through all this his BS to collect it

Some guy claimed scalpers are getting to the DMVs early, getting the tickets they hand out that hold your place, and are selling them. LOL.
