Fog as thick as soup all freaking day

Even back bays that fog was scary. Fished in Great Bay yesterday - water temp 82. Then cruised around to the Tuckerton  river side - water temp 77 and fog. In my 19 foot tracker running like 7 mph big boats flying by and medium ones way too fast who definitely did not have radar.  Nothing happening over in the 77 temp water so escaped that fog. 5 fluke but it took all day and no keepers. One at 17.5" that would have been nice fillets.

We worked our way through the fog which was very spotty to run out to Barnegat Ridge.  We only managed 2 Spanish macks and dropped one before heading closer to drop down for some flatties.  We managed 2 keepers, a few shorts, and most of the sea robins living in the Atlantic before calling it a day.  The worst of the fog for us yesterday was right at the Barnegat  inlet heading off shore.  It was slow going for maybe a good half mile before we broke through and were able to crank her up.

Fog sucks .

can be a half mile from them and never know they are there .

plus too many guys then all hit the same lumps making it even tougher .

knew after just light south breezes socked in quick most of the day Saturday , that Sunday would be worse .

hoping for better weather next weekend
