Live Report....Crabs

Sitting in the boat with my son between 35 bridge and train tressle.  Great  1st hour and they have shut off.  Still searching for them

Went in barnagette weds night.  From 730 till midnight.  Slow had 1 keeper in the first 3 hours than 2 than as we had to leave last pull had 5 so as they started feeding I had to leave tommorow is another day

Finished the day with 31.  Only kept over 5" crabs and we only netted 4 females all day (all thrown back). Uses 5 drop lines and scoop net.  Good first trip of the year.  Picked the bodies for crab cakes tomorrow and ate threw the legs and beer while picking!!!

I alway have a ton of crabs at the place I work but my family all thinks there too much work to eat. So the only ones I will take are the soft shell ones for the deep fry😋also tons of bunker and there super easy to catch for bait.

My friend Ed has a holding tank. A big kiddie pool.drugs to crabs in there and just watches them every day till they shed.
