All are great. Not tooting my own horn...know many jigs. What is jig on far right??

I like a few jigs. Shimano flatside, Fcl labo sl, fisherman andaman, point judith deep force, & drift tune

It’s run off lures sand eel .

when worked like a butterfly jig it swims crazy .

many times it got way more hits than a flat fall .

it comes with a junk tail hook everyone removes .

he makes them I believe from an ounce to 12 Oz .

I used them a lot in 6/8/12 Oz.

been bunch years since I used this stuff , but see he still sells them at all the shows .

now that my boat is solid again , will def be putting them to use

Wish we had the great near shore bite they had up at the Cape. Would be awesome to do those short runs to the fish .

everything here most of the year is 50-75 miles . Need more time off work to hit the good weather windows .

20 mile run doesn’t matter so much when it’s nasty out but fish wanna chew .

When you going to be on the Outdoor Channel?

Not me . I’m a part time hack .

Lots  of extremely knowledgeable guys out there , that would make me look like a fool .

I just thirst for knowledge and don’t quit so can pull a rabbit out of my hat every once in awhile .

always learning

You are not competing on the same playing field. I want to see those guys come out here and look good. You could do just as well if you fished in the places they do.

I think he turned the camera to the port  side when I went around the motors , but I came right back to the starboard side where we landed the fish .
2 wrecked gaffs later . Needless to say there are real good ones on the boat  Again now .

That last tuna was icing on the cake on their beat down of me .
I had just fought a bigger one to the boat and we lost it at the gaff .
Was about 2 minutes  between losing that one and fighting this one .

def like catching them on a jigging rod more than a trolling stick .
with a  jigging rod you get the leverage , with a trolling rod the tuna gets an extra edge against you .

I’ve only caught them with a trolling rod and its a bitch! I’ve heard the jigging rods are better. Hopefully my next experience included them. I told my son and my father id love to take ya , but there’s no way you’d ever be able to reel one in lol. The first one I ever fought was with no belt and no harness. I’m not as strong as I thought I was.

No belt for me . I use a Cush it to hold rod where ever I want it .

Catch a 40” fish on a trolling rod , you need a break .

catch a 60” on a jigging rod you drop right down ready for the next one .

but I think when you go over 70” it hurts on all rods lol.

Agree...unless you use belt & harness. Harness makes it easy
