My "Trapping" has been changed to using Cable Restraints.

I have quite a few paperback books for snaring different critters.

I read a lot of "How to" books from the 1970's to date, just to gain additional knowledge, tops and ideas for snaring.

The kids were never too involved with this. Now, I am working on the grand kids to motivate them.

This little, long out of print muskrat trapping book, is the bible for Tidal Trapping muskrats in NJ. I know someone else posted a picture of this same book in an earlier response. Written by a Tidal trapper from Connecticut with the same conditions that we have in the northern part of this state.  This book opened the door for me when I switched from trapping the fresh water creeks of Bergen County to the Hackensack Meadowlands back in the early 1970's. There has not been one year since then that I have not applied some of the techniques written in that little gem! The page on "Psychological Habits" of the muskrat alone is all you need to know to trap muskrats anywhere.
