I never tried Rage BH's. I can yell you that a friend I hunt with took up Crossbow hunting when his kids bought him a crossbow about 5 years ago. It was a Barnett Panzer and I'll leave it at that. He shot his first deer (a 6 pt buck) with a Rage. It was a good shot and the deer only went maybe 60 yds. The KE of that bow was probably about 60 lbs which is adequate I'm told. He was hooked on Rage as you can imagine. For that bow, I would have opted for a small diameter fixed head as opposed to a large diameter cut expanding head but miracles do happen.

I have never had a Rage fail. Plus the blood trail is insane even on marginal shots.

Same here but the blood trail with rage is useless. Deer die in sight so there is no tracking. I don't remember last time I actually had to track a deer
