Had a series of meetings this morning that left me pulling my hair out and not wanting to be around people any longer-virtually or otherwise.  Decided to spend some quality outdoor time with the dogs.  Yes, the black one is our puppy who just had his you-know-whats removed last Thursday.  We tried to slow him down the first two days by keeping him in the crate/inside, but he was miserable unless he was outside so we just gave up.  On Sunday he was out splitting wood with me and the next thing I knew he was gone-I found him swimming across the pond   We've been checking the incision multiple times a day to make sure that all looks good and making sure he keeps up on his antibiotics.  At this point I'd say he's recovered.  My 11 year old chocolate keeps up with the puppy without missing a beat.  Hoping that continues for a couple of more years...

good luck with the pup. hank is a friendly dog. seems like a great friend.

At 11 years old Hank is the "big brother"to my three girls and is everything a lab should be.  Major, his little brother is still half nuts, but he'll come down in about five years or so
